Privacy Policy

Thank you for expressing your interest in our website. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below you will find detailed information about how your data is handled.

1. Recording your input data on server logfiles:

You can visit our websites without providing any personal data. We only record data in so-called server logfiles, such as the name of the file accessed, the date and time of access, the data volume transferred and the requesting provider. This data will only be used to ensure the proper functioning of the page and to improve our service, but cannot be traced back to you. Data collection and utilisation for contract administration purposes and for opening a customer account We collect personal data when it is freely provided by you within the context of placing an order, making contact with us (e.g. via the contact form or by e-mail) or when opening a customer account. The specific data gathered is that provided on the various information forms. We use the data provided by you for contract administration purposes and to process your queries. Once the contract has been processed in full or your customer account has been deleted, your data is blocked to prevent any further utilisation and will be deleted on expiry of the mandatory retention periods set out in fiscal and commercial regulations, provided you have not expressly agreed to the further use of your data or we retain the right to further exploit your data in accordance with the law, of which we are obliged to inform you. You may cancel your customer account at any time via the contact facility set out below or via the function provided for this purpose within your customer account.

2. Data transfer for contract completion purposes:

For the fulfilment of contract, we will transfer your data to the shipping company commissioned with delivery if necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on the payment service provider selected during the order process, we will pass on the payment data required for payment to the financial institution and possibly the payment service provider commissioned by us or the payment service provider selected by you. In part, the selected payment service providers may collect the data directly should you open an account with them. In such a case, you will have to register with your login data of the payment service provider during the order process. The data protection declaration of each respective payment service provider shall apply in such cases.

3. Data usage on subscription to the e-mail newsletter:

If you subscribe to our newsletter we use the data required for this purpose or that which is separately provided by you in order to regularly forward our newsletter to you. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the contact facility set out below or via a link provided for this purpose within the newsletter.

4. Use of cookies:

On many pages we use cookies in order to enhance the attractiveness of our website and to enable the proper utilisation of certain functions. This incorporates the use of small text files which are stored on your device. Some of the cookies used by us will be deleted at the end of your browser session, i.e. once your browser has been closed (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). You may configure your browser such that you are informed when any cookies are placed and decide in individual cases whether or not you wish to accept them, or you may reject cookies for specific cases or in general. Should you reject any cookies the functionality of our website may be compromised.

5. Use of Google Analytics for web analysis purposes:

This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (www.google.de). Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods which enable an analysis of your use of the website, through cookies for example, text files stored on your computer. The information created about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the US and saved there. Activating the IP anonymisation on this website will cause the IP address to be shortened before transfer within the member states of the European Union or in other contract states of the agreement about European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the US and shortened there. The anonymous IP address transferred from your browser to Google Analytics will not be joined with other data logged by Google.

You may prevent the transfer of data created by cookies and your usage of the website (incl. your IP address) to Google as well as further processing of such data by Google by downloading and installing the following browser plugin: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de As an alternative to the browser plugin, you can click here to opt-out in order to prevent the use of Google Analytics for this website in the future. An optout cookie will then be stored in your device. Once you delete your cookies, you will have to click the link again.

6. Use of Google AdWords Conversion Tracking:

This website uses the online marketing tool Google AdWords and its conversion-tracking function. When a user clicks on an ad placed by Google, a conversion-tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files placed on your computer. These cookies expire after 90 days and are not used for personal identification. If a user visits certain pages on this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google’s system detects that the user has clicked on the ad and was directed to this page. Each Google AdWords customer is assigned a different cookie. It is therefore not possible to track cookies via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected through the use of conversion-tracking cookies is used to provide conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have chosen to use conversion tracking. These customers are informed of the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page featuring a conversion-tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that would enable them to identify users personally. If you do not want to participate in the tracking program, you may refuse the use of this program by deactivating the Google conversion-tracking cookie under the user settings of your Internet browser. You will then be excluded from the conversion tracking statistics.

7. Use of the Google Inc. Retargeting Technology:

This website uses the retargeting technology of Google Inc. (“Google”). This technology enables us to show personalized, interest-oriented ads to visitors to our website who have already shown interest in our shop and products. These ads are displayed using cookie-based analysis of previous usage behavior. No personal data is stored during the process. In cases of retargeting technology, a cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device in order to collect anonymized data about your interests and thus individually adapt ads based on this stored information. These cookies are small text files stored on your computer or mobile device. You are thus shown the ads that are most likely to correspond to your product and information interests. You can permanently refuse the placement of cookies for advertisement purposes by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link:
https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/  You can find additional information as well as the advertising and Google privacy policy here: http://www.google.com/policies/techno...ogies/ads/

8. Use of the Facebook Inc. Retargeting Technology:

We use Facebook retargeting technology on the Lilienthal website, which works with a transparent 1x1 pixel gif. With each visit to our websites, your browser automatically accesses this pixel and creates a connection to Facebook and its servers in the US. Your HTTP header (the information your browser routinely shares with the websites you visit while surfing the Internet, including your IP address, browser information, website URL, document referrer and user agent such as operating system) is transmitted to Facebook, as are the Facebook cookie possibly already stored on your computer and our customer number with Facebook (this does not correspond to your customer number with our company). This occurs regardless of whether or not you have a Facebook account and/or are logged in. Any further processing of this data occurs only through and at Facebook. If Facebook is able to connect the Facebook cookie to your Facebook account, it uses this information to display ads relevant to you in the web banner when you visit Facebook. For more information about the purpose and scope of data collection, the further processing and use of this data by Facebook, and the setting options for protecting your privacy, please consult Facebook’s Data Policy, which can be found here:
https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_c...audiences/  and https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation
If you want to refuse the use of Facebook’s Website Custom Audiences, you can do so at https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_c...audiences/. We do not share any data about you with Facebook.

10. Performance Advertising:

Performance Advertising displays Lilienthal Lifestyle GmbH advertising. On behalf of Lilienthal Lifestyle GmbH, cookies can be used to show you ads that are more relevant and useful to you. The data collected is entirely anonymous, meaning no information is stored that would allow us to identify you. We take the protection of your privacy very seriously and ensure conformity with the applicable German provisions on data protection. You can find more information about our data protection at http://www.performance-advertising.de...atenschutz. Performance Advertising now practices voluntary self-regulation in accordance with the Online Behavioural Advertising (OBA) Framework of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA). We incorporate the data protection information symbol onto the advertising materials of our targeting campaigns in order to provide users with a simple way to obtain information about behavior-based advertising and opt out. You can find additional information at the EDAA website http://youronlinechoices.eu/. You can inform our system at any time that you do not want your anonymous statistical data to be used for ad targeting. Please bear in mind that you may still be shown general ads that are not necessarily relevant to you. If you do not want Performance Advertising to show you relevant ads, you can deactivate this function at http://www.performance-advertising.de/opt-out/.

11. Right of access and contact facility

You are entitled to access your personal information stored by us at no charge, including the right to correct, block or delete such data. Please use the contact details provided in our legal notice should you have any queries concerning the collection, processing or exploitation of your personal data, or should you wish to access, correct, block or delete any data, or should you wish to withdraw any approval provided for or object any use of such data.
